The meeting at Podumbu where the collector L Subramanian participated focussed on the prevention of the spread of dengue.
People were advised to keep the environment free from plastic garbage,water stagnation,and other garbages which were responsible for the mosquito breeding.
Village people agreed not to use plastic products especially very thin plastic products.
It focussed on also pottable water and bore well maintenance.
