Stars attending the 55th Grammy awards show on Sunday have been advised to dress appropriately to avoid any obscenity in terms of wardrobe. CBS, which will be airing music's biggest annual night on February 10 this year, has issued an advisory to "all talent appearing on camera" asking them to adhere to Network policy concerning wardrobe, reported Deadline. Mainly aimed at female guests, the letter bans flaunting of certain body parts and asks to avoid sheer see-through clothing that could lead to any kind of unwelcome exposure. "Thong type costumes are problematic... Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts. Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. Obscenity or partially seen obscenity on wardrobe is unacceptable for broadcast," the advisory stated. The guidelines pertain to audience members as well who appear on camera. Promoting any cause is also banned. "The Network requests that any organised cause visibly spelt out on talent's wardrobe be avoided. This would include lapel pins or any other form of accessory."
