Gushing over the great change in film making in Bengal, 'Chittagong' director Bedabrata Pyne says this will hook more people to the theatres.
"There have been big changes in stylisation, in shots, cuts," which adds up to the rich content in Bengali films bringing back the audience to the theatres, Bedabrata said at the premier of friend Neeraj Pandey scripted 'Royal Bengal Tiger.'
Amazed over the film's visual content, the 'Nasa-man' said, "I hadn't watched films in theatres regularly." But I think such presentation is needed to pull back the audience to auditoriums.
'Kahaani' director Sujoy Ghosh, now busy with another ambitious project, said "Thrilled to see the journey" of Common Man on celluloid. It augurs well for Bengali cinema.
Jeet, the friend of 'Common Man' Abhiroop said, "My character always brings home the point that fear is nothing but a state of mind. If you overcome fear, you can face the world."
"The film talks about unleashing the true Man lying dormant in us when we face intimidation in various forms and can't taking it any more at one point," Royal Bengal Tiger director, Rajesh Ganguly of critically feted children's Hindi film 'Blue Oranges' fame, said.
Produced by Viacom 18, Neeraj Pandey, The Royal Bengal Tiger was premiered on January 30.
