After attending the first meeting of the 225-member executive council of his movement 'Lokhit Abhiyan', Brar told reporters that he would go to the doorsteps of all the "clean" Akali and Congress leaders in Punjab who were against their parties' ideologies to convince them to join the 'Great Grand Alliance' for the betterment of the state.
Lashing out at the Congress and the Akalis for meting out "injustice to Punjab in all spheres", he said the alliance will chalk out a strategy for the agrarian crisis, drug menace and family fiefdom in major polictical parties in the state.
Brar, a senior leader who had been expelled from the Congress, said he would also invite Navjot Singh Sidhu to the August 15 meet.
He said the alliance could comprise the BSP, Left parties and others but did not disclose who all was he in touch with for the meet.
