At the second day of the ongoing Auto Expo today, it also lunched two new fuel-agnostic powertrains for its flagship 3- wheeler and mini-truck segments.
It said the two offer up to 30 per cent more fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The new powertrains come in petrol and CNG versions which are BS-VI compliant.
"We see plenty of potential in the 2-wheeler segment. So, as part of our diversification, we are introducing 2-wheeler engines. These 110-cc engines can be fitted on both scooters as well as bikes and we are in discussions with OEMs," Nagesh Basavanhalli, MD and CEO of Greaves Cotton, told PTI here.
Besides, it has launched a new family of multi-cylinder turbo-charged inter-cooled engines which are also BS-VI compliant.

With Pinnacle Engines, they are launching a new set of CNG/petrol engines for three-wheelers, which come with a linear twin-piston technology--an industry first in the country.
These engines offers up to 30 per cent fuel efficiency with significantly lower emission as they ensure very low tail pipe emission, thus meeting the BS-VI norms, Basavanhalli said.
Additionally, it is also showcasing for the first time in the country high performance 3-wheeler electric power trains which are ultra-light compact high output induction motor, developed by Altigreen Propulsion Labs.
In the three-wheeler diesel engines space it enjoys 80 per cent market share, and is the key supplier to Lohia Auto, Atul Auto and MG Group, Basavanhalli said.
