An Australia-headquartered infrastructure and energy services company is looking for a joint venture partner to participate in greenfield and brownfield projects in India.
"We are looking for a JV partner with an in-depth knowledge of the Indian market," said Bob Sharon, founder and CEO of Green Global Solutions.
The group will take 51 per cent lead and contribute its eco-system, technology and expertise to the JV company, said Sharon, an Australian who has worked over 25 years in a number of businesses and focus on green solutions.
Sharon expects to set up the JV partnership in about one year.
He also stresses on inculcating Green Global Solutions' culture and best practices into the partnership company.
"As part of Green Global Solutions' commitment, we seek to work with companies which contribute to a sustainable development and are ethically, socially, environmentally and economically responsible.
"I believe India has a need for sustainable cities, especially green-field and brownfield," said Martin Ciupa, the group's regional director for Asia Pacific based in Singapore.
Green Global Solutions has recently set up Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and is also looking at a pipeline of environmental projects in China.
