Grenades & detonators belonging to NDFB(S) militants recovered
Press Trust of India Guwahati A large quantity of explosives, suspected to be of the NDFB-Songbijit militant outfit, were recovered by a joint police and BSF team from the jungles in lower Assam, a police officer said today.
Eleven hand grenades and as many detonators were recovered from the jungles of Daranga Mela area during the joint operation last night, IGP L R Bishnoi said.
The explosives were hidden in a bag by suspected NDFB-S militants who abandoned them in the forest area, Bishnoi said.
