Ground frost in certain areas of Rajasthan, Churu shivers

Normal life remained affected in parts of Rajasthan with mercury dipped to a low of 0.9 deg Celsius in Churu followed by Sriganganagar where the mercury settled at 2.5 degree C.
Yesterday also Churu had recorded the lowest temperature of 1.5 degree Celsius.
Isolated places in northern region in the state also had ground frost, according to the MeT Department here.
Pilani recorded minimum of 3.5 degrees Celsius whereas Bikaner, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Barmer recorded 5.3, 7.4, 7.8, 8.9 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT official said.
