Groundnut oil moved up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on renewed demand from retailers.
However, mustard oil ended lower.
Castor oil in the non-edible section also recovered due to increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said robust demand from retailers mainly led to rise in groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil went up by Rs 100 to Rs 9,600 per quintal.
On the other hand, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil shed Rs 50 to Rs 7,950 per quintal on lack of buying support.
