Movements in other edible and non-edible oils were restricted in the absence of substantial activity.
Marketmen said increased demand from local parties raised the prices of edible oil.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) traded Rs 50 higher at Rs 7,250 per quintal. Groundnut solvent refined (per tin) also edged up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,260-1,360 per tin.
Mustard expeller (Dadri) on the back of increased demand traded Rs 30 higher at Rs 6,580 per quintal.
