Groundnut, mustard oils strengthen on increased demand

Prices of groundnut and mustard oil strengthened by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased demand.
However, edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides increased demand against tight supply from producing regions mainly led to rise in groundnut and mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils advanced by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,500 and Rs 7,200 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
