Groundnut oil declines on reduced demand, good supply

Groundnut oil prices declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here due to reduced demand from stockists and bulk consumers amid higher arrivals from producing regions.
However, refined palmolein recovered owing to good offtake from retailers.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil dropped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 950 from Friday's closing level of Rs 960, while refined palmolein went up by Rs 6 per 10 kg to Rs 508 as against Rs 502.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,925 per 100 kg, Rs 815 per 10 kg and Rs 775 per 10 kg, respectively.
