In the futures market, castorseeds prices recovered on fresh export enquiries on the back of rising spot market.
In the edible section, groundnut oil slipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,270 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 1,280. Refined palmolein looked up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 512 from Rs 510 previously.
Turning to non-edible segment, linseed oil eased by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 855 from Rs 860. Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial both closed unchanged at Rs 3,525 per 100 kg and Rs 735 per 10kg, respectively.
Moving to futures, castorseed March contract resumed higher at Rs 3,665 and shot up further to Rs 3,705 before settling at Rs 3,682 from Rs 3,656 yesterday, showing a gain of Rs 26 per tonne.
