Groundnut oil eases on adequate stock, sluggish demand

Barring a fall in groundnut oil prices due to subdued demand from retailers against adequate stock, other edibles and non-edibles held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Marketmen said fall in demand from retailers against adequate stock mainly led to decline in groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat)oil eased by Rs 50 to Rs 8,800 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustardseed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnutseed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 930-1,070.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,800, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,600-1,650, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,300, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,300, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,300-1,400, sesame mill delivery Rs 8,100, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,700, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,300, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 5,700, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,800, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,700 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,350-2,350.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 8,500, Castor Rs 9,950-10,050, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
