Groundnut oil eases on poor demand

Groundnut oil prices eased further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following poor demand from stockists and retailers amid sustained arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein also slipped due to lower retail buying.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial edged up o mild offtake from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil declined owing to lower demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil prices moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 1,255 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,260 and Refined palmolein went down by Rs 3 per 10 kg Rs 627 from Rs 630.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,800 from overnight close Rs 3,790 and castoroil commercial add by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 790 from Rs 788 previously.
However, Linseed oil fell Rs 20 per 10 kg to at Rs 1,080 as compared to Rs 1,100 yesterday.
