Groundnut oil hardens on consistent demand

Groundnut oil prices extended its gains to hardened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on consistent demand from stockists and retailers amid poor arrivals from producing belts.
While, refined palmolein declined due to subdued demand from retailers.
In the non-edible, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial and slipped due to reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil firmed up by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,030 from Monday's level of Rs 1,020. However, refined palmolein fell by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 520 from Rs 525.
Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 35 per 100kg to Rs 4,315 from Rs 4,350 and castoroil commercial dipped by Rs 7 per 10kg to Rs 893 as against Rs 900 yesterday.
Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 770 per 10kg.
