Groundnut oil prices recovered smartly at the wholesale market here today due to renewed demand from stockist and retailers.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial fell owing to lack of demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseeds oil moved down further on stockist selling amidst lower demand from paint and allied industries.
In the futures market, castorseeds witnessed slight volality and eased on selling pressure following subdued export enquiries.
In the edible section, Groundnutoil climbed by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,210 from weekend's closing level Rs 1,200. Refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 515 per 10 kg.
