Groundnut oil rises on retailers demand

Groundnut oil prices traded higher by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased demand from retailers.
Castoroil, in the non-edible section, also moved up on the back of increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said pick-up in retailers demand mainly led to rise in groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil rose by Rs 50 to Rs 7,450 per quintal.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,450, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,300, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,600, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,350, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,300, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,900, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,550, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,500-9,600, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
