In restricted activity, groundnut oil prices firmed up by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on brisk buying by stockists following pick up in demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said stockists buying on the back of uptick in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up the groundnut oil prices.
