Groundnut oil rises on sustained demand

Groundnut oil gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
However, refined palmolein eased further owing to lower retail buying support.
In the non-edible segment, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial prices slipped following reduced offtake from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil went up by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 880 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 870, however, refined pamolein moved down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 457 from Rs 460.
Among the non-edibles, castorseeds bold declined by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,150 from Rs 4,165 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 860 as against Rs 863 previously.
Linseedoil ended unaltered at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
