In restricted activity, groundnut oil prices drifted by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against sufficient stocks kept pressure on groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil eased by Rs 50 to Rs 9,100 per quintal.
Groundnut solvent refined followed suit and shed Rs 25 at Rs 1,700-1,800 per tin.
