Groundnut oils strengthens on persistent demand

Groundnut oil strengthened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on persistent demand from stockists and retailers as well as ensuing festivities.
While, refined palmolein slipped due to lack of retail demand.
Linseed oil gained further on sustained demand from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial maintained a steady trend in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil surged by Rs 35 per 10kg to Rs 965 from Monday's closing level of Rs 930. However, refined palmolein declined by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 533 as against Rs 536 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible section, linseed oil moved up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 760 from Rs 755. Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,275 per 100kg and Rs 885 per 10kg, respectively.
