Groundnutoil recovers on subdued demand

Groundnut oil prices recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on good demand from stockist and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
Meanwhile, Refined palmolein edged down owing to lack of buying support from retailers.
However, linseeds oil maintained its steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped following reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil shot-up by Rs 20 per 10kg to Rs 940 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 920 While, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 509 from Rs 511.

Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold fell by Rs 5 per 100 kg to Rs 3,650 from Rs 3,655 and castoroil commercial softend by a Re per 10kg to Rs 760.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10kg.
