In the edible section, groundnutoil slid by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,200 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,210. Refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 655 per 10 kg.
Turning to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold gained by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,225 from overnight close of Rs 3,200 and castorseed commercial added by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 675 from Rs 670. Linseedoil remained unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
Moving to futures, castorseed for June contract resumed slightly lower at Rs 3,290 and hovered between Rs 3,303 and Rs 3,270 before ending at Rs 3,299 over its previous close of Rs 3,293, showing a marginal gain of Rs 6 per tonne.
