Today, we shall try to record the statement of their family, a GRP official said.
Bhatia's death comes after the suicide of Suraj Parmar of Cosmos Group, due to which Thane Police has decided to conduct a parallel investigation in the case.
Parmar, a leading builder, had shot himself on October 7 last year. His suicide note alleged that a nexus of officials and corporators was harassing him for bribes.
