The four supplementary Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislations - Central GST Bill, 2017; the Integrated GST Bill, 2017; the GST (Compensation to States) Bill, 2017; and the Union Territory GST Bill, 2017, were passed earlier this week by the Lok Sabha.
"All the four supplementary GST legislations will be taken up for discussion in Rajya Sabha in the next week and most likely on Wednesday," Kumar told reporters here.
Kumar added that he expects support from all parties for passage of this landmark bill.
But the government is keen on early passage of this bill as they want to roll out the new indirect tax regime from July 1.
