Guard hit by train, killed

A private security guard lost his life when he was hit by a train, police said here today.
Parsuram Rajput (65), working as a security guard in a flat, was hit by a speeding train last evening when he was going back home after finishing his duty, they said.
In a separate incident, Ramu Rajput (32), a resident of Chota Kanpur, allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.
The incident occurred last evening near Panki station bridge.
Ramu was upset since the past few days over his liver illness.
