Guargum prices drifted further by Rs 360 to Rs 11,860 per quintal in future trading today after participants trimmed positions amidst a weak trend at spot markets on sluggish demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guargum for delivery in May month contract dropped by Rs 360, or 2.95 per cent to Rs 11,860 per quintal, with an open interest of 5,484 lots.
Also, most-active delivery in June month contracts remained under pressure and lost Rs 330, or 2.65 per cent to Rs 12,140 per quintal, in an open interest of 13,007 lots.
