Marketmen said a boost in export demand at existing levels mainly supported the upside in prices here in future trading.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guargum delivery for the May month contract advanced by Rs 93, or 1.19 per cent, to Rs 7,899 per quintal, in an open interest of 27,075 lots.
Guargum for delivery in April month contract also rose by Rs 75, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 7,749 per quintal and open interest stood at 40,490 lots.
