At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guargum for delivery in December gained Rs 90, or 1.37 per cent to Rs 6,650 per quintal, in an open interest of 19,638 lots.
On similar lines, guargum for January contracts moved up by Rs 80, or 1.19 per cent to Rs 6,780 per quintal in an open interest of 19,740 lots.
Marketmen attributed rise in guargum prices at futures trade to positions built up by speculators at existing levels.
