Guarseed futures up on increase buying

Guarseed prices improved by Rs 55 to Rs 4,740 per quintal in futures trade today following increased buying in tandem with firm physical markets.
Marketmen said low levels buying against restricted supply mainly pushed the prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guarseed prices for March contract gained Rs 55, or 1.17 per cent, to Rs 4,740 per quintal, with an open interest of 15,327 lots.
April contract also improved by a same margin of Rs 55, or 1.16 per cent, at Rs 4,805 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 12,788 lots.
