Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani would personally interact with various sections of the society and experts once every month to get a direct feedback about the government schemes.
Under this new initiative, Rupani would strike a dialogue with citizens, farmers, labourers, tribals and educationalists among others, an official release said.
The interaction will be held at the chief minister's official residence in Gandhinagar.
The CM would also invite experts from various fields for suggestions, it stated.
The meeting would be held twice every month if needed, as per the release.
"The main aim of this direct interaction is to get direct feedback and suggestions from the people about various government schemes so that the government can take steps to remove hurdles and ensure effective delivery to beneficiaries," it said.
