Naresh Shah was admitted to Sterling Hospital on June 29 with swine flu symptoms like high fever and cough. His blood tested positive for the deadly H1N1 virus, they said.
He died due to multi-organ failure, the sources said.
The hospital authorities, as a precautionary measure, gave necessary medicines to Shah's relatives who had been with him.
This was the second swine flu death reported from the city in the last three months. On April 8, a 52-year-old man had succumbed to the disease in Rajkot Civil Hospital.
