Gujarat CM greets woman scientist for her research paper

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today greeted woman scientist Annie Sharon Daniel, after her research paper was selected by the 24th Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Homoeostasis (ISTH), at
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Annie's Vadodara-based father Cecil Christie holds a senior position in the Gujarat government and her mother Anjana Christie is a teacher in Surat.
She has been invited to present her research paper on 'Identification on brodifacoum exposure and subsequent monitoring of treatment and recovery, using functional markers of Vitamin-K status' on June 29, at Amsterdam.
Before working as a scientist at St Thomas Hospital in London, Annie completed her schooling at Sir J J School and St Xavier's High School in Surat.
She graduated from the University of East London and obtained her Master's degree from Kingston University, London, securing the second rank in the university.
In a letter to her, Modi wrote, "You have glorified Gujarat abroad saying and the selection of your research paper at 24th ISTH Congress is a matter of pride for all Gujaratis. This is the era of fierce competition for survival and progress in every sector, which requires continuous updating and upgradation of knowledge".
"I convey my warm greetings to you for your scholastic achievement at the international level and my best wishes for your bright and successful future," he wrote.
