"With the onset of holiday season, Gujarat tourism is setting up a red carpet for tourists from all over India," Chairman, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat, Kamlesh Patel told a press conference here.
Patel said Rann Utsav which began on November 18 this year will culminate in February, 2016.
The festival has been the winner of the National Tourism award by Union Ministry of Tourism.
"The arid land of Kutch blossoms into a magical world during the Rann Utsav. The specially set up tents give an unusual experience of staying in the wilderness while enjoying the cozy comforts of a star hotel," he said.

The international kite festival is scheduled on January 14, 2016 on festival 'Makar Sankranti'.
"It is one of the most colourful events in Gujarat. The sky around cities like Ahmedabad is filled with colourful kites all around. Around 100 international kitists from more than 24 countries, spanning all continents are this year taking part in the event," Patel said.
He said the state government and Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd, in association with FICCI, are organising Vibrant Gujarat International Travel Mart (VGITM), a global travel exposition from February 19-21, 2016 in Gandhinagar to promote tourism in the state.
