This will be the 8th edition of 'Chintan Shibir'. Last such session was organised in 2011 when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister.
All the ministers, parliamentary secretaries, senior secretaries of various departments, IAS officers, collectors, district development officers and other key officers will take part in the three-day event, which will be held in Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar from tomorrow, an official release said.
On the first day, state Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will inaugurate the event by her address.
Subjects for these panel discussions include improvement in the quality of primary education, issues related to human resources in public health sector, implementation of mobile governance and steps to eliminate malnutrition in the state.
Subjects for group discussions include toilet facility for all, building quality education institutes, improvement in public amenities in urban areas, easing laws related to land, skill development, employment generation and effective implementation of social sector schemes, stated the release.
This 'Shibir' holds significance in the wake of forthcoming local body elections in the state, expected to be held in October this year.
