The celebrations are part of the pan-India celebrations to be carried out by the Centre after the United Nations (UN) had recently announced to celebrate the day on June 21, an official release said.
For the state-level celebrations, a central committee has been set up under the chairmanship of state Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, it said.
To involve students of schools and colleges as well as common citizens of cities as well as rural areas, separate committees were also formed at district and taluka level, it added.
Participants will be required to perform Yoga as per the demonstrations shown in the program, it added.

To make this celebrations a successful event, the state government will conduct Yoga camps for citizens at various centres across the state between June 15 and 20.
In addition, a separate program of 'training for Yoga trainers' will be carried out at selected centres between June 7 and 14, stated the release.
