Gujarat: Two children electrocuted

Two children were electrocuted after they touched an overhead high tension electricity wire with an iron rod at Bahucharaji town in the district today, police said.
The incident took place when three children were playing on the roof of a community guest house in the temple town, a Bahucharaji police official said.
Kris Kanjibhai Chaudhary (12) and Mit Amrutbhai Chaudhary (13) died on the spot while another child sustained an injury, he said.
"The incident took place at around 10:30 AM when when the Chaudhary family members and relatives had gathered at the guest house for tonsure ceremony", he added.

The deceased children belonged to Mevad and Lakshmipur Khara villages in Bahucharji teshil of the district, respectively, said the officer.
