Gujarat: Vitthal Radadia to join BJP tomorrow
Press Trust of India Rajkot Former Congress MP and farmers' leader from Saurashtra Vitthal Radadia, who had hit the headlines last year for brandishing a gun at a toll-booth, would be joining BJP in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at a function at Dhoraji tomorrow.
Radadia, who had won both Lok Sabha and assembly elections as Congress candidate in the past, recently resigned as MLA along with his MLA son, Jayesh.
He had held a series of meetings with supporters in Porbandar and Junagadh districts recently.
Radadia was expecting a key post after assembly elections but he was miffed as former Chief Minister Shankersinh Vaghela was appointed as opposition leader in Gujarat assembly.
A large number of supporters, including chairman of Rajkot Dairy Govind Ranpariya and Gordhan Dhamelia, would be joining BJP along with Radadia and his son Jayesh tomorrow.
