"We visited the girl at a city hospital here today, where we assured her and her family of all the help that we can provide," Chairperson of the State Women's Commission Maheswari Chauhan told PTI.
The State Women's Commission also took statements of the victim and her mother.
"We have taken statements of the victim, her mother and asked the doctor about her condition. We will probe the issue and give our report to the Gujarat state government for further action," Chauhan said, adding that the Commission would seek monetary aid for the victim's family.
The victim was allegedly set ablaze in the Ambedkar Nagar area of Sayla town in Surendranagar district by her neighbour Motilal Sumera and seven others on Monday, the police said.

The 15-year-old girl, who received 80 per cent burn injuries, is undergoing treatment at a city hospital here.
The police has arrested three out of the total eight accused in the case so far.
"We have arrested Motilal Sumera, his son Raj Sumera and son-in-law Ganesh Waghela, for allegedly setting the teenager ablaze," Deputy Superintendent of Police of Limbdi division of Surendranagar district G G Jasani said, adding that all the accused are Dalits and Motilal Sumera is an engineer working with the state Public Works Department.
