"We urge the government of Jammu and Kashmir and the central government to set up colonies at safer locations for the Gujjar population of the two districts who bear the brunt of continuous ceasefire violations," Gujjar leader Shamsher Hakla Poonchi said.
Poonchi said that by firing on civilian areas, the Pakistani army is violating human rights of the border residents.
"Due to the firing by Pakistani army, the people living along the LoC are facing problems," he said.
