According to the advocate Robin Mugera, who appears for the accused in the case, Desai will visit Gulberg Society during afternoon to get an understanding about the topography of the society and exact locations of the houses.
"Site visit helps the judge to verify the claims made by witnesses. For example, a witness would claim that he has seen the crime happening inside his neighbour's kitchen from his toilet window. Thus, the judge needs to verify if that is possible. It will give him an idea about the exact topography of that society," Mugera said.
The trial of the Gulberg Society case is in the final stage of hearing.
