The Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the Gulberg Society massacre case of 2002, today narrated the statement of another witness before a trial court here during the final arguments.
Former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri and 68 others were killed at the Society on February 28, 2002, in the aftermath of the Godhra train burning incident.
Special Public Prosecutor R C Kodekar for SIT today narrated the testimony of the prosecution witness Saeedkhan Pathan before the special trial court Judge P B Desai.
The SIT had yesterday narrated prime witness Imtiyaz Pathan's statement before the court.
Saeedkhan has corroborated the incident narrated by Imtiyaz, said Kodekar before the court adding that the former has also identified four accused.
In his testimony, Saeedkhan had said that a mob attacked and vandalised the house of Ehsan Jafri and few accused raped two women and later killed them, that was what Imtiyaz had also narrated, Kodekar said.
Saeedkhan had also spotted few of the accused dragging Jafri before his killing, he said.
The SIT lawyer will continue with the deposition of Pathan on Monday.
