Gun factory busted in Jharkhand

A large number of unfinished firearms were recovered after the security personnel busted a mini-gun factory, allegedly run by the ultra outfit People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), near Belgada village in Satgarwa jungle of Bano police station in Simdega district.
The police and CRPF launched a massive search operation in the jungle on the directive of the commandant of 94 Batallion of CRPF, Ravindra Bhagat yesterday and stumbled upon the gun factory, CRPF sources said today.
A large number of unfinished firearms, spare parts as well as gun making equipments including hand drill machine, wielding machines, cutter etc were seized from the factory, which was demolished by the security jawans, sources said.
Among the seized items, sources said over 40 country-made pistols were "almost finished stage", sources said adding a villager was detained for interrogation and let off later.
