The gunmen, who were riding a motorcycle, gunned down the man at Joint Road in Quetta, the capital of the restive Balochistan province.

The man died instantly and the attackers fled.

Police officials described the murder as a case of sectarian target killing.

Dozens of members of the Shia Hazara community have been killed in Quetta and surrounding areas this year.

Many of the attacks have been blamed on the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
