The band's frontman, Axl Rose, recounted the story to the jam-packed crowd at Toronto's Rogers Centre Saturday night, July 16. According to Rose, they were detained at the border for gun possession, reported Aceshowbiz.
"We weren't exactly arrested, we were detained," the rocker opened up on stage. "They were very nice," he said of the authorities. "They were very understanding. You know, it happens -- you can forget you had a gun." He then added with a shrug, "Wasn't my gun."
