A similar trend also displayed at the Muzaffarnagar market with prices of gur chakku rising by Rs 50 per quintal.
Marketmen said restrictred arrivals against increased demand mainly pushed up gur chakku in Delhi and Muzaffarnagar.
In Delhi, gur chakku prices edged up by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 2,700-2,800 per quintal.
At Muzaffarnagar, there too gur chakku enquired higher by Rs 50 to end at Rs 2,300-2,650 per quintal.
