Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also depicted a similar trend.
Marketmen said besides pick up in demand from local parties and stockists, restricted supplies from producing areas mainly led to rise in gur prices.
At Delhi, gur chakku and dhayya rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 2,600-2,700 and Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal, respectively.
At Muzzafarnagar, gur raskat and chakku also moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 2,400-2,450 and Rs 2,400-2,650 per quintal, respectively. Khurpa edged up to Rs 2,400-2,425 from previous level of Rs 2,350-2,400, while ladoo climbed to Rs 2,600-2,750 against last close of Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,450-2,500 and dhayya Rs 2,500-2,550.
