Gur closes quiet on small buying

The wholesale Jaggery market ended quiet in the national capital today following sporadic buying amid restricted supply.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also remained steady on small buying support.
Marketmen said scattered buying support and restricted arrivals mainly held gur prices around overnight levels.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,650-2,750, pedi 2,750-2,850, dhayya 2,900-3,000 and shakkar 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,300-2,350, chakku 2,400-2,750, khurpa 2,500-2,550 and Ladoo 2,550-2,650.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,450 and dhayya 2,450-2,500.
