Prices of gur dhayya and shakker eased by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today due to sluggish demand from local parties against adequate stocks position.
However, gur in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar ended on a steady note on lack of worthwhile activity.
Marketmen said low demand from local parties against adequate stocks position mainly pulled down gur dhayya and shakker prices.
